The Back

The back body is defined as from the top of the head to the crease below the buttocks

Most approaches to massage consider the back as being from the waist to the neck which disparages the whole and limits the effectiveness of the massage.

The line represents the lower boundary for back massage techniques.

The back body is where most massage occurs to help relieve everything from sciatica to migraines and induce relaxation as nearly everyone enjoys a good back rub.

We usually start with the centring and pulsing and adding oil. The video below, shows the start of the massage and some of the flow on a person with very little muscle.
