Stirring the pot
The hips contain the largest muscles in the body and this is also an area where a great deal of stress is stored. A thorough massage to the outer hips will generally help to alleviate lower backache as well as some leg pain.
Please complete some effluerage and sun strokes and before doing this move.
Keep your fingers on top of your fingers for your own comfort and feel into the muscles with your fingertips and define the surfaces of the bones. Then work as deeply into the muscle tissue as the person is comfortable with.
The speed of the massage technique in this video is to release physical tension, and that can be slower and softer for a more general relaxation.
